The 2012 CCAS/SFS-Q joint conference with the Peking University (PKU) School of Foreign Languages proposes to explore historical and current aspects of the broader triangular relations between China, the US, and the Arab World. Scholars from Georgetown University and Peking University will examine and address a range of related topics, from Arabic literature, language, and teaching to the various political, sociocultural, intellectual and economic dimensions of the ongoing Arab revolutions.
